Client Extranet
This firm’s clients were demanding a secure, collaborative work area they could access over the Internet. Lokitech researched, designed, and built a pilot extranet to allow legal practitioners to work better with clients. The extranet included a contact manager, a calendar, a link management system, discussion groups, a world clock and a document management system. All functionality, including administration, was available from anywhere on the Web using a standard web browser. All communication was secured using SSL, and users could be authenticated using either a username/password pair or a digital certificate.
