Security on an Organizational Level
A critical component of any organization’s infrastructure security plan is policy. Having
a robust and viable organizational process for security forms the foundation
on which all security constructs are built.
A security policy involves the adoption of a company-wide plan of action that details how employees,
contractors and customers interface with your technological resources.
The object of a security policy is to implement a level of control and accountability
over an organization’s staff and contractors. The policy is created to establish a set of best
practices to prevent any future intrusions as well as to minimize
the risks of harm to physical assets either through acts of God
or damage from employees (both malicious and unintentional).
